Default Cruise Control
we recently bought a 2008 Silverado 2500. The cruise was not working so we replaced it, but it still only works occasionally with no rhyme or reason that we can figure out.

list the parts you replaced. What codes are set in the pcm and bcm.

Try swapping the brake switch that fixed my cruise control I had the same issues
