I installed a aftermarket boss radio on my Silverado, bought the interfaced, wired everything up and the radio turns on and shows display but I got no sound at the speakers. I’ve checked my wires like 3 times. I color matched all of the speaker wires, power, ground and the yellow one. Anyone else ever have this issue? I’m lost.

 

have you done any troubleshooting?

like connecting a known good speaker directly the the stereo.
or touch an AA battery to the speaker wires and see if it pops.

 

Yes I used a good speaker that I had and it worked directly connected to the radio, but when in the truck it doesn’t work, I think I have a wiring issue, unsure what I could’ve done wrong though

 

I think so too. Get out the multimeter and start measuring.

 

Do you have Bose sound system? If so, you have an amp located under your center console that has to be powered. There is a wire coming off your aftermarket head unit that has to be connect to the amp. I think it is usually blue. Check your head unit manual.
