Default Drivers seat motor

My new to me 2011 GMC Sierra drivers seat won’t go back/forth.
I have +12VDC at the motor with the switch positioned one way.
I have -12VDC at the motor with the switch positioned the opposite way.
I then OHM the motor and it has the same value as the other two motors.
I suspect the motor is locked up.

is the motor replaceable by itself or will the complete assembly need replaced.
thanks for any help

If the motor runs then the gears are stripped most likely. All of these trucks do this eventually with cheap plastic gears installed at the factory. Gruven parts may have what you need.
