Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum and have just purchased a 2008 Silverado 1500 from a Toyota dealer. I found something which the dealer can't identify (probably because it's a Toyota dealer and not Chevy) so I was hoping someone might shed light on this. I have two wires hanging down in front of the parking pedal and they're disconnected Included is a photo. I don't believe they connect to each other as they're two different kinds of connectors. One is a standard blade-and-socket connector (the socket) and the other one is a blade-type with indexing or locking tabs on it:
Sorry about the size of the photo. I haven't figured out how to make it smaller.
Anyway, does anyone think they might know what these wires are?
doubt theyre stock, does the truck have a brake controller on it?
is there any screw holes around that area?
are they getting any power (with key on and with it off)?
are they grounded?
