Hey gang, new to this forum, but have been on others! I have a quick question, I have got a 2012 Silverado 1500LT looking at some after market trailing mirrors and looking at all the different options that are out there, what I was wondering was, my truck has the power adjust, heat, will there be a wire inside the door for me to get the turn signal option also? Is the wiring harness already there or would I have to run my own wires? Thank you for your time!!!

 

Chances are good the the wiring is there. Cheaper just
To make wiring looms with the extra plugs as less cost.

 

i asked a similar question the beginning of the year and was given the same answer as henry said. but the wife mainly drives it and i havnt really had any good reason to swap them out to check yet

 

I just did a mirror swap myself and now my power function doesn’t work, lol plug and play my butt 🤷*♀️

 

Did you have any luck with this? I also have an LT and hoping to add power folding mirrors, but not sure if harness is there.

 

I got my towing mirrors from 1Aauto.com. They are plug and play. Power adjustable heated mirrors (not power folding) from the factory on my 2012 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4WD LT trim. The new towing mirrors have the turn signal in the mirror and the vehicle is already wired for that. The quality is really good too. Easy to install. Videos on 1Aauto's YouTube channel.
