I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 4L60 transmission. Truck was shifting fine until today as I was arriving home I tried to put it in reverse and got no movement. I then tried to put it into neutral to push it back but truck seems to drift forward. Driving and shifting going forward seemed to work just fine. Anything I can try before pulling and rebuilding transmission?

 

An easy thing that I would check first would be the shift linkage to the transmission. Maybe it is off somehow, and not moving the shift lever on the side of the transmission to the correct locations?
