Oil...Ok, not that kind of thread
I didn't have my reading glasses on the other day as I checked the oil cap filler on my 2007 Silverado Classic (5.3L Flex). What I bought was a case of Mobil 1 10w30. (always used Mobil 1 since new).
Of course, when I got home I saw the error of my ways to read the cap's (5w30). I changed it and re-filled with the 10w30, but of course, I feel dumb about not getting it right. Especially, here in the cold north of MI.
The Truck is an excellent, never touched 160k motor, with zero issues and I drive it all winter.
Should I dump it and install the correct 5w30? Or am I fretting about nothing?
Thanks, RPG
