I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 and the low beam headlights are not working. I had a problem with one not working and so I just changed both bulbs. They both worked for a couple of days and now both are not working. When I get in there and take the bulb connected to the wire out of where it is connected into the headlight sometimes they work so I don't think it is the bulb. I had a friend tell me to put grease where I connect the bulb and the wire, but that did not do anything. any suggestions?

 

Try checking for Power and Ground at the connector where the bulb plugs in with a multi-meter.
Check the UBEC (Fuse Box) under hood for corrosion or bad fuse.
Does the switch on the dash light up?
