Radio switches to Aux Input Device

he radio will be playing, then suddenly silence and displays "Aux Input Device". Back and forth between radio and this. silverado 1500 - 2010

We had the same issue. What we did was plugged an old jack into the port. It remedied the issue, it is not looking for it now.
