'11 Silverado LT, 5.3L/V8, 171k miles, some frame rust but appears to be superficial. $15.9 list, would definitely talk them down from it. I'm concerned about the high miles and AFM issues. Any other concerns I should be aware of? Worth buying, and if so, at what price? I'm in SLC area. TIA

 

Welcome from Florida. I would say the price is definitely too high. If you have any reservations about the truck don't buy it. No need to buy something and then have to worry about it possibly breaking down.

 

I guess I'm asking if I should be concerned about the high miles (mostly from an engine/transmission standpoint) or if there are other known issues for this model and year. I haven't bought any vehicle in 14 years so I'm trying to educate myself.
