Recently, I took a 1000 mile trip and experienced something I had never noticed before. There seemed to be a "rattle" around the windshield edges. Not extremely loud, but annoying. I then noticed that the wipers did not seat on the windshield well and often moved with the vibrating rattle. Anyone else find this? It seemed only to occur above 70MPH and the wipers would practically bounce on the windshield.

 

might need to replce the mounts for the wipers

 

isolate the noise by: cover the wipers with masking tape and test drive to see if the noise disappears.
the plastic trim that run up and down the sides of the glass can rattle when air gets underneath them. there is a tsb to apply 2 sided tape to them.
