Can anyone help me? I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 and the spedometer just recently froze at 60 MPH and won't go down but it will move past 60 but right now 60 is technically my 0-mph any suggestions please?

 

When my 03 Trailblazer was doing that I would disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes. When I connected it again it would be good for a short while. I had to replace the stepper motor in the gauge cluster for a permanent fix. Not hard to do if you can solder. It would also be a good idea to replace all 6 of them as they will all go bad sooner or later.
