Speedometer and tranny prob
2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT 4WD, sometimes when I hit a bump the speedometer will drop to 0 and tranny will stay in 1st, will not shift. Another bump will sometimes make everything work correctly, sometimes not. Speedometer also drops when braking. Any ideas?

I have a similar problem. If I do not make a complete stop when I accelerate my truck stays in first gear and the speedometer shows zero. I have to stop, then move the gear shift to park and back to drive before I can proceed. would really like to know what causes this
