Starting issues
My truck is acting very odd, first things first, when I turn the key, it won’t turn without me having to jiggle the key hard and then it’ll turn, and out of nowhere, my truck wouldn’t turn on at all, lights and everything came on but when I turned the key, nothing engages at all, then I’ll try again randomly and then all that happens is I hear clicking coming from the instrument panel and at the same time, the engine light comes on and off at the same rate as the clicking is taking place. Then I’ll try again sometime later, and it starts just fine, and runs fine and then yesterday it was idling very rough, so I turned the truck off and tried to turn it back on and I ran into the same problem I’ve explained above, over time I’ve replaced the accelerator pedal sensor, throttle position sensor, and the engine coolant temperature sensor, I’ve also replaced the spark plugs about two months ago, this is because I’ve ran into other problems before with my truck and those were the solutions to my problem, so I think. One more thing, yesterday while I was trying to turn it over, I left the key on the “on” position and it relayed the “service traction control/stabilitrac” and also service theft detterant system, I’ve never stuck a different key in the ignition or anything like that, this is a 2011 wt 4.3L 2WD Silverado, I hope someone can shed light on this because I need some help with this issue, thank you.
