Just got a 2008 Silverado 2500 diesel and am looking to add a backup camera. To do this I need to replace the factory head unit, the truck has the Bose sound system and that is complicating the process for me, could use some help.

Seems I need a interlink data hub device to integrate most of the features but the rear system is confusing me a lot.

Over at crutchfield they have install packages and two options around the rear system.

Does the truck have different rear entertainment options? How do I know which I have? What I have is between the two drivers seats, has headphone jacks and some controls.

Anyone else with the Bose system replace their head unit and have some advice on what I need to get to retain as much integration as I can, or should I just not care about the rear and move forward?
