Sticking Parking Brake
My vehicle is a 2007 Silverado Classic
5.3L Flex Fuel
Extended Cab
2WD
160k miles
Original owner
The problem is if I set the parking brake and leave the vehicle over-nite, the brakes seem to stick when I go to move.
The drums are original but recently replaced the shoes with new.
I've verified that the cables are retracting completely and I've always used the parking brake since I bought the truck new.
I talked to a mechanic who suggested that the drums might be worn or warped.
Would it be the first course of action to just replace the drums with new?
