transmission issue please advise

Default transmission issue please advise

Hello,

I have a 2007 GMC classic 1500 Z71 that is having some transmission problems. Here is what happened:

Casually riding down the road and noticed that instantly my 2nd and 4th gear are not working. I can still drive the truck but it shifts from 1st directly to 3rd if I let off the gas, no 4th gear. Finally it throws a code and says P0752 - SHIFT SOLENOID A STUCK ON

does this mean that its possible that all i need to replace is shift solenoid A and that will correct my 2nd and 4th problem? please advise as im not real good with this stuff.

I'm no expert on automatic transmissions, but here is what I found:This code can be stored for a handful of reasons:
