Default Transmission in limp mode

Hey, I’ve been having some issues I’m hoping somebody might be able to help with. I have a 2013 Chevy Silverado 1500 and it started with the transmission being in limp mode, not shifting out of 2/3 gear with a P0700 code. I could shift into manual and shift normally for a while until it would revert to the same low gear. I took it to the dealer who said it was my battery and negative battery cable, replaced, same problems. Only now I get a P2534 ignition switch code. I had the alternator tested and it’s good, I took it to a transmission specialist who said it’s just the ignition switch that needs to be replaced. So I replaced the ignition switch only to continue to have the same problem. Has anyone had a similar experience? Do I need to replace the ECM? Help!!!

You need a full diagnostic scan to read the faults from the TCM. Take the vehicle to a transmission specialist.

My 07 had these exact issues, i swapped starter, alternator, fuses, and most relays except for the run/crnk. Turned out to be a TCM and Run/Crank relay replacement.
