Transmission shudder
2007 Silveraissdo Classic. Original Owner with 177k miles. 5.3V8, 2WD.
The original auto trans was replaced at 143k with a Jasper re-manunfactured unit. That trans lasted about a year before it literally blew up. It was replaced with the same Jasper unit under warranty and this one has lasted but has an annoying shudder at about 45-55mph. I was told it was a common problem by Jasper and some other GM folks but my original trans never did that.
Anywhooo, even after 2 tubes of LubeGuard Shudder Fix, this problem won't go away. Is there a very specific brand/type of trans fluid I could use to try that first?
