Mine are very minimal since I'm wanting to keep some integrity to the truck! The first thing I did was replace the air filter with a K&N. I have added dual exhaust using Flowmasters. I am keeping the original head and tail lights and just replacing the lamps with LED. I have found the Lasfit brand works.
Even though it's not a mod, I am working on removing the rust from the rear quarter panels before they get bad. I'm using Rustoleum products to accomplish this repair and a lot of elbow grease sanding to the bare metal.
Just grabbed a 09 , already have 2.5" level kit, 34x10.50r20s and building a gen 3 lq4 (6.0l), with gen 4 243 heads and gen 4 truck intake, waiting on the stage 4 tsp low lift cam. Been alot of work to get motor right, have had to pull crank to replace reluctor wheel with 58x one and replace cam gear for 4x, have to drill and tap holes for knock sensors still. Have long tubes for it and complete 3" duals . Gonna be an animal hopefully.
. Best part is I paid $1000 for this truck bc the AFM ate the inside of the motor up, dude didn't wanna spend anymore cash on it. Body work is next, it's a step up from my rusty 97 Z71 for sure.
