Default Unfortunately my last Chevrolet product

I own a 2013 Silverado and have run into so many issues already it's unblievable. Everything has occured since my bumper to bumper coverage expired. Thats just a few thousand miles ago since i now only have 68k. Just after I made my last payment I started having issues with my seatbelt. During the winter at low temps I would find that my seat belt would not lock to the buckle until the truck was driven several miles and the cab warmed up. Not very safe.

After this I started getting several warnings on the dash. The airbag warning light began to appear as well as the tire pressure warning light. Over $800 later and I was able to get the passenger presence sensor changed out. The dealer was not able to tell me why the pressure sensor was going off. There was nothing wrong with the tires. I contacted GM customer care and expressed my displeasure and also requested reimbursement. However they simply told me that the warranty coverage had expired and I'd be responsible for the full cost to repair. I've already had 2 safety related issues in just 5 years of ownership, unacceptable.

My issues haven't stopped here. I still continue to get the airbag warning light and the pressure sensor signal every other time I drive somewhere. When these sensors go off I have other issues to deal with, the temperature control can no longer be changed. Also, the park assist automatically shuts down. Maybe I'm running into some electronic issues but I don't want to pay another dime for repairs.

All in all I'm very dissatisfied with my Silverado. I would never have purchased it if I knew the issues i would have after less than 70k miles! I will make sure I express my issues to others considering a truck purchase. I'm a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry and am asked often what my experience has been with my Silverado. Unfortunately I cannot tell them good news.
