Default 2014 GMC Sierra issue

I have a 14 Sierra that I'm having issues with. It's a 8 cylinder 4x4 z71 package. So all the sudden my key fob doesn't get recognized by the truck. But I can use the key to open door and start the truck. But my lights stay in, wipers are moving, horn is beeping, hazards don't stop, inside lights are on and says e brake is on when it's not. I can drive still with all this going on. The only way to stop it is to disconnect the battery. But when I reconnect it, all starts happening again. I've changed battery. I've changed fob battery. I've checked all fuses. But dont have a clue what issue is. Anybody gone through the same or similar thing?

Put the key in the start position for 10 minutes until the light goes out. Do that two more times. It should make you FOB work fine.
