Default 2014 Silverado going back to repair...P0300 misfire

At present, my Silverado has approximately 23000 miles on it. This will be the second time it's been in the shop for the P0300 misfire code. The first time, they replaced the active fuel lifters (I think that's what they were called) on two of the cylinders. And this time, they indicated it was on a different bank of cylinders. So, at present, the parts are on order so I'll have to take it back in and leave it for repair.

My service writer has always been square with me and I've been doing business with the dealership for over twelve years now so this is no reflection on them or their service. I'm just wondering if it might be time to contact Chevrolet or GM directly as I find it both odd and disconcerting that an engine so young and low on miles is exhibiting these problems.

Anyone else have this issue?

they corrected he problem on one bank and now will correct the problem on the second bank. Sounds like they are doing a good job.

imo do not follow the olm oil change intervals. they are to long between intervals. the afm lifters work off oil pressure. the oil must be clean and not run low. do your part and change your oil long before 7000miles.

Oh, the service guys at this dealership ALWAYS go a great job. I've never had a complaint for them. I'd recommend them to anyone I can.

I get the oil changed between 3-4k pretty much like clockwork so I don't ever reach that 7k mark. Thanks for the reply!
