Name is Tony, been a member here for a while, but rarely posted. I live in MA and I recently purchased a 2014 Silverado that had a 2016 front clip upgrade done by the previous owner. The issue I am having is with the headlights. They were upgraded to the single bulb D5S HID headlights that only work on high beam. The original harness from the truck is there, but the light side looks like it was hacked in to accommodate the new unit. I am in need of both the 2014 and 2016 headlight wiring diagrams to find out if it can be wired so that both low and high beam lights work. Heck, I don't even know if there is a single HID bulb that has both low and high beams in it. I believe the Halogen bulbs do, or at least have a shutter that opens when the high beams are activated. Any help is appreciated. I have attached what is believed to have been installed and an actual photo of my truck with the headlight. Need to figure this out so that I can go get my inspection done. Thank you!
