Default 2016 Silverado 2500 HD Brake shoe / emergency brake

Greetings all - I have a 2016 Silverado 2500 HD. Replacing the passenger side brake shoes/emergency brake. For some reason the new rotor will not go over the new shoes. The adjustment wheel is in all the way, parts all appear to be the same. Can anyone recommend any ideas or thoughts?

Thanks

J

If you’re still needing an answer…

Oftentimes the shoes can be off center relative to the hub, so you just need to start the rotor onto the hub, then work the shoes back and forth or up and down to line them up with the rotor.

If that doesn’t work, it’s possible the cable isn’t fully released. Disconnect the cable from the actuator lever and see if the rotor clears the shoes.
