2017 5.3 silverado testing fuel injectors
Hi all,
I suspect one of my injectors is shot and I wanted to test the injector with my ohm meter to see if one of them fails the tolerance as I have seen videos on this that seems pretty straightforward. However, after watching a few videos, most of them show only a simple 2 pin connector, but when i opened my connector up, it has 4 pins.
Does anyone know the layout of which pins i use or if there is a different method to test for this sitaution?
My problem is that it the stuttering and misfire code is not consistent. It happens sometimes, and then the truck runs fine for a bit without any issue. I can drive 5m without any problems, then suddenly going up a hill or idling along at 60km/h it stutters for a minute then stops. it is getting worse as time goes by and all the symptoms seems to be a bad/clogged injector, so I was hoping to just check the injectors to further narrow down if its a bad injectors vs, just need to get a proper cleaning.
Thanks in advance.
