Default 2017 silverado 4x4 excessive road surface feed back in steering lower speeds

2017 LT CREW CAB 4 X 4 I FEEL ALMOST ANY ROAD TEXTURE IN MY STEERING WHEEL UNDER AROUND 50 MPH. iT FEELS ABSOLUTELY SMOOTH ON A FRESH PAVED PARKING LOT. STOCK 18 IN ALUMINUM WHEELS WITH MICHELIN ENRRGY SAVERS. THE FRONT SUSPENSION FEELS EXTRA STIFF WHEN GOING SLOW ALSO , BUT HANDLE RAIROAD TRACKS AND BIG BUMPS BETTER THE FASTER YOU HIT THEM. Sorry caps lock on. the roughness I feel in the steering wheel at slow speeds is driving me crazy. The truck seems to ride soo smooth at freeway speeds , but through town it makes me want to exceed the speed limit just to make it go away. tried lower tire pressure and that didn't get rid of it. I hear about the intermediate steering shaft maybe stuck. any one else have this issue?

Not trying to be a smarty, but did you get the recall on the power steering?
