2017 Silverado Draw-Tite Brake Controller, Overload Error

2017 Silverado Draw-Tite Brake Controller, Overload Error
Good Evening,
I recently purchased a 2017 Chevy Silverado and trying to transfer my Draw-Tite Activator II Brake Controller to it. I've had it since 1999 and seems pretty easy to install. But, I've fried 2 fuses so far. Before the fuse goes, I get an OL (Overload) Error code.
I don't know if the controller will not work with my 2017 truck or how to try and figure out what is wrong.
Any ideas?
