Default 2019 or 2018?

I'm getting a 2019 silverado tomorrow. Same styling as the 17's and 18's. I look around at other 2019 reviews, and all are about the new body style. I didn't care much for it, and the former style was less expensive. Dealer says it's an early 19 that I'm getting, before the style changes. What's up with all this? Can I believe what he's telling me?

Default 2018 style vs 2019

I just got a new 2019 style 1500. I had a 2012 and really liked the new style. The dealer did offer me an old style, and
it was a lot cheaper. I think that they had so many old body parts that they just made a production run with them.
I didn't look for the differences. I would look at what you got with the same packages between the two.

there is a 1999 old body style and 1999 new body style. there is a 2007 new body style and 2007 classic body style...these occurred at the endpoint of one generation and the start of the next generation.
