I have a 2018 Silverado 5.3L where the temperature moves above 210 degrees during normal driving. This happens during normal highway driving at normal highway speed. I want to see if others have noticed the water temperature gauge moving past 210 on their trucks. Dealer indicates this is normal operation. The temperature cycles between the 210 mark on the gauge, and the next tick mark.

 

I have a 2013 Silverado 4.8L and it stays at 210 all the time.
