Default Battery replacement 2014 Silverado

Are there specific steps to follow when replacing the battery of a 2014 Silverado?

What I found in the manual is that the driver power window will need to be reprogrammed for the express-up feature to work.
I remember one of my cars had to be reset by a technician, because it lost its programming and would not even start.

I have a 2013 Silverado and have replaced 2 batteries without having to do anything. It started right up and everything worked.

+1 what he said
disconnect the negative terminal first. on install connect the negative terminal last. if it has a battery blanket transfer it to the new battery...protects the battery from underhood heat. Always make sure the the battery hold down is secure. Do not drive without a properly secured battery.
express down relearn can be done yourself without any special equipment.
