Hi everyone,

I'm looking at purchasing a 2014 Silverado Crewcab LT Z71. I'm currently stuck between two that I've looked at.

One is blue with 47k miles, is in immaculate condition, has a drop in plastic bed liner, a trailer brake and the dealer will put new tires on it and is selling for $29k.

The second truck, almost identical, is silver with 29k miles, no trailer brake, but has new tires and a spray on bed liner with led lights under the bed rails, however, it has some scraping on the rear quarter panel and a dent in the rear bumper, and is selling for $29k.

On paper, I think the obvious choice is the silver truck, but the blue is just so good looking and ready to go and my mind keeps coming back to it. But to pay the same price for a truck that has 18k more miles is absurd. The dealer with the silver truck will repaint the rear quarter panel for me. What are your thoughts?

the extra mileage wouldn't bother me. they are both out of bumper to bumper coverage.
you have room to negotiate on the price. I wouldn't pay 29 for either them.

take both for a test drive and make sure there are no vibration issues and that the a.c works...2 troublesome areas for this model year.

 

The dealer with the silver truck will not go lower than $29. I drove both, didn't notice any vibration. A/c works. What would you pay?

 

offer 27 or walk away from the deal.
