does my 2017 6.0 have AFM or VVT?
Hey guys.
I'm clearly novice by asking, but please tell me what my 2017 Silverado 2500HD 4x4 longbed double-cab pickup has going on with its plain jane 6.0 liter engine: is it saddled with VVT/variable valve timing ONLY, or does it have VVT as well as AFM/active fuel management also?
I'm not sure if and when the 6.0 dropped the AFM, but there's my question for ya. This is a 2017 WT plain jane 3/4 ton truck. Came as a snow-plow prepped package. Basically, I wanted to know the status of my fuel constriction so I could either spend money on a AFM delete or plug & play kit of some kind to wake the motor up, without getting too spendy.
I am eventually going to do the most basic improvements of airbox/filter upgrade and possibly catback exhaust upgrade.
