Default Front suspension 2017 Silverado

Hey guys so I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 z71. I bought the truck with 9k miles on it. It has like a 3.5 to a 4.5 inch ranchito suspension lift on the back, not sure which, and on the front it had a 3 inch level lift.. 2 inch block on top of the strut and then a 1” “C” block on the bottom. I had 20x9 rims with a little bit of offset. Never had problems out of anything at this point. At about 21k miles. I put 20x12 rims on with -44 offset. After 1000 miles I popped the upper ball joint out of the control arm on the front drivers side. After talking to different people I was told that I need to just go with a 3 inch block on top of the strut and get rid of what I had. So after I done that and replaced the whole control arm it was all good. Well at about 24k miles I did the exact same thing on the passenger side. I have it replaced now and I’m at 25k miles. I also replaced the rims back to 20x9 with a positive offset. All is good so far. But every now and then I can hear like a popping type noise or something when I hit a bump or turn the wheel sharp. Just nervous that it will happen again. Do I just need to replace the whole lift together? Or what is the best option to go at this? Just sucks to only be at 25k miles and have already replaced both upper control arms.

Put a real suspension in there and get your angles correct. Lower your transfer case. Never a good idea to cheap out on a lift. I know not your doing as it was there when you bought. The negative the offset of your wheels there will be more stress added to your ball joints as well. Buy a quality lift and get it right. Chances are you'll obtain a better ride. Good luck

Default Front suspension

Why would my truck front end still make that a popping noise after new control arms and rims with a positive offset?

A popping sound would either be a bad ball joint or your CV axle
