Issues after removing brake controller
Hello everyone, new to the forums.
I recently purchased a 2016 Silverado Crew Cab, 5.3. The previous owner had a Tekonsha Voyager break controller installed under the dash. Since I don't have anything to haul around, I asked the dealership to remove it for me. They disconnected it from the wiring harness and removed it it from under the dash.
Since then every time I start from a dead stop or turning. it feels like the transmission is stuttering. I had a guy tell me it could the ABS system trying to engage or something like that.
Has anyone ever had or heard of this? I have an appointment tomorrow (4/25/23) to have the truck looked at. I was wondering if it is the ABS system, is there a way to reset it? I'm new to these newer trucks. I traded in a 2004 Tahoe and a 2000 Blazer, so it's been a while having something new(er) again.
Thanks,
JP
