I have a 2015 silverado, crew cab LT. Looking to replace my jump seat with a console from the LTZ edition. Has anyone done this?? The dealership quoted me 800 for the parts and said installation was all on me. Anyone know where to get it for cheaper and how hard is it with the electrical wiring?

 

The seat switch is simple, just four bolts, one at each corner and it lifts right out. What does the LTZ unit have electrically different than the LT so that the old vehicle wiring would not plug right in?

 

My LT has the cigarette charger located at the bottom back for the backseat passengers and the regular electrical plug and cigarette charger located at the bottom middle of the dash near where a person sitting in the middle would put their feet. How would that translate into working in the console?
