Default remanufactored transmission...when to do service

The transmission in my 2014 silverado 4x4 failed at about 150K. Had the local chevy dealer replace. To my surprise, the transmission they installed was documented as being remanufactured. My question is, when should i have the first service performed?.. And, what should I use for proper service intervals in the future. I do pull a 16' vnose trailer with light construction tools, 5 out of 7 days a week.

Any details, fluid to use, screen replacement required, etc .would be appreciated.

John

service interval is given in the owners manual, as well as the fluid (Dex VI)
Since you tow regularly, follow the "severe" interval, which I think is every 45k. Clean the pan and change the filter.

I'd change it out at 10,000 miles to get all the junk out after the break-in period myself. I prefer Wix or Purolator filters myself. I wouldnt touch a Fram for any reason at all. Might as well use
Dex VI for fluid. Full synthetic fluid, of course.
