Service Theft Deterrent
I have a 2014 Silverado, V6 engine basic work truck. In the last two months the Service Theft Deterrent message appears at startup (not too often) but disappears upon next start up. Then occasionally the truck will not start at all on the first try. If I do not remove the key and retry it will not start, but if I remove the key and retry it starts?? Any ideas on what is going on and how to fix it?
