Whats up. New to the forum. So i have a 2014 chevy 1500 5.3 LTZ. During a crank it just stopped, like everything locked up. After a few seconds guages and everything came back on, tried again same thing. 3-4 tries later it cranked up. I immediately ordered a new starter. Checked battery, replaced started. Everything good until 3 weeks later same thing. Got new starter same thing 3 weeks later its doing the same thing. Im scared the motor is trying to lock up. Just replaced the ac compressor, condenser, and accumulator valve. Now fans stay on all the time. Replaced relay and water temp sensor. Nothing. Truck has 235,000, it wont keep water in it and sounds like valves r making racket. Do i burn it, what do i replace now. And it has a misfire. Changed all coil packs and irradium plugs. What next

 

When is the last time you have changed the oil and filter? Is the water leaking externally or being burned? Is the water going into the oil pan? Sounds like you may need to dig a little deeper in the engine….
