My 2018 Silverado with the 4.3 V6 has a whining noise that I can’t pinpoint. It only does it when my truck is warmed up and I believe only when I’m in park, but maybe I’m just not hearing it at any other time I’m gonna attach a video. I need to fix it, but I don’t know what to fix any any help is appreciated

 

Could be many things. Try narrowing down your search by removing your serpentine belt. Often it's an alternator or power steering pump.

 

OK, I’m going to try that after work. It sounds like it’s coming from the passenger side, I was worried after doing some research. It was the transmission pump, but yesterday I was under there and it doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the transmission necessarily, I was trying to research Vacuum lines. I’m not super mechanically inclined 😅
