This decal looks like it has a protective strip over the top that can be removed, because its only 1 week and its already all scratched up, but i can't figure out how to take off the protective strip on top, and the more i try the more im starting to think im damaging the decal itself. So i guess my question is, is there a strip of clear tape over the top of this decal and if so how do you remove it? Thanks for those you choose to offer assistance.

usually there is from the factory that the dealer is suppose to take off but sometimes its over looked, its a thin sticker and it is very easy to get off if it looks like your just damaging the decal itself id leave it alone but try in one of the corners to peal it up sometimes those stickers are tucked under the decal a bit
