Default Z71 front air dam

Circled on picture
I have a 2016 silverado with the z71 package. White bumpers and all. During a deer hunting trip in MO we were taking my deer to processors we hit a raccoon. The impact cracked the chrome peice on the air dam. As being perticular about my vehicles I want it fixed. I, however, think that chrome doesn't look good on white trucks. I was wondering in the 4x4 air dams fit on the z71s. I asked my dealerships body shop if i could switch the two and he keeps saying no. I was wondering if he correct or not?

Heck, I was out 4-wheeling with my 98 K-1500 in the winter with lots of rain run-off causing lots of "ditches" to exist. Hit one hard that I didn't see and busted off a 1/4 of the air damn. Haven't replaced it yet, but had to have a front alignment done Should just take the thing off, since I dont see the point, but looks don't bother me much at all.

Seriously, I would NOT take any brand of dealership at their word. Might be you could "visit" a car/pickup dealership when they are closed, with a tape measure and do the math yourself, and count the screws, ect. This might not be a good idea, since cameras are standard fare almost anyplace, but most dealerships know that people visit after hours.

I am old-school, and old, but when I was a young man, we didn't have any air-dams on street vehicles, and certainly not on a pickup, but I understand that you would like your ride to look nice. I'll do a search when I can and see if I can find something, but no guarantees of success, of course.
