Default 1500 Suspension question

HI all, I am looking at a 2020 Silverado 1500 4x4. My question is which suspension provides a more comfortable on road ride with an empty bed? The base or Z71?

We had an '05 Z71 Suburban, the ride was "firm" and very comfortable for daily driving, including rougher roads. Just traded it for a '20 Tahoe. Both were/are my wife's daily drivers; the 1st couple weeks, she commented she preferred the Z71 ride. Now she is happy with the non-Z of the Tahoe, just a learning curve I think. Biggest thing I notice is how darn quiet the '20 is compared to the '05. Go to the dealer and drive both. I know the Z adds quite a bit more coin; IMO average Joe doesn't benefit from the additions.
