Default 2020 Silverado help need - rear axle swap SU8 vs SU7

2020 Silverado Custom 5.3 V8 (L82)
Hello,
My rear axle with 9.5'' ring gear ,opt SU8 supplier B, 3.42 ratio (opt GU6) has been bent in an accident and try to get a used one to swap.
I have found one similar axle locally with 8.6" ring gear opt SU7 supplier A ,3.42 ratio (opt GU6) and while I understand changes to ring gear will have impact in torque and full economy, I do not know much about the differences between supplier A (SU7) and supplier B (SU8).
Additionally, I am fine to move to a lower ring gear as I rarely going to do any towing however I would need to know the impact of switching from a supplier B to A as I am trying not to run to any to issues with truck configuration or any other other setups that can require me to visit dealer for possible computer or any type reprograming of settings.
I would appreciate any help that I can get, please advise

Thank you!
