2024 HD2500 2nd recall
If you have a new Chev there has been 2 recalls already. 1 on the tailgate that will open by itself while driving and the most recent one involving you loosing trailer brakes for multiple reasons because of battery voltage in your trailer not equal to the truck. As you would guess the new parts are not available yet. I am averaging a recall every 6 months on a new truck. I would tell anyone considering buying one to skip these new Chevs. 11 to 13 mpg with an injected V8 (6.6 gasser) using 10 forward gears. **** poor. I put an aftermarket exhaust and a K&N in and basicly got 1 or 2 better out of it. These are stripped down to the point you have to start buying the high cost GM parts as soon as you bring it home. This is half the truck my 07 Duramax was. I'm most likely trading it in for my first Non Detroit vehicle in my 51 years of car/truck ownership. The cement maggots designing these don't care about trucks, they want you to buy a Chinise electric. But they will sure cry for another taxpayer bailout again when they go completely broke. Just one more company gone to sh** in this country. Sad times we now live in.
