breaks 21 silverado

Default breaks 21 silverado

2021 Silverado Z71 LT TRAILBOSS, 26,000 miles breaks won't pass inspection. dealer wants 1,900.00 to replace front and rear pads and rotors. 600 labor rest parts, my truck will never see a dealer ever again. 1,900.00 and have to replace again in 26000 miles do it all over again I DOIT THINK SO. found at rock auto all parts, pads rotors hardware and sensers. oh pads are for off road and towing, rotors drilled and slitted. $550.00 what do you guys think'

$1900.00 is definitely too much for a brake job. I only take my truck to the dealer for warranty items. If you can do it yourself then go for it. Anytime you can save $1350.00 it's a can't lose.

Just replacing pads and rotors is $1900 at the dealer? That's the most insane thing I have ever heard in my life... I would get a quote at a local brake shop that does JUST brakes, or do it myself. Unless the brakes wore out and the rotors got messed up, why would the rotors need replacement already? That's what I am wondering... at most they might need turning. Then again, hard to find a shop that turns rotors and drums these days...
