I have a 2021 Silverado Z71 that I would like to install a leveling kit and step the tire size up a couple sizes. I spoke with one owner who had done this and he stated that he had to upgrade his suspension as he had broke 2 sets of upper ball joints before he switched A arms and ball joints. Does this sound right? I've leveled my 08 and my 18 and never had any problems. I am looking to go with a 285/65/20 Nitto Ridge Grappler, vs the stock 275/60/20 Bridgestone Duelers it came with.
