Default Fog Light LED Replacement?

Hello everyone. My question today is can the white OEM fog lamp LED bulb be physically exchanged with a yellow LED bulb without replacing the entire light assembly? Or should I use some sort of yellow-colored vinyl film to cover the lenses? Thanx!

It is more than just putting a yellow tinted piece of plastic between the bulb and the front lens. One must take into account the light pattern that is given off from the LED vs the incandescent bulbs, AND the geometry of the reflector. The original reflector was designed with an incandescent bulb in mind. Because most LED bulbs have a vastly different light pattern, the amount of light delivered will be much less.

Sorry, I misread your original post. As long as the bulbs are the same number (e.g. similar to 3057 vs 3057A), it should work.
