Post Issues with Infotainment System

Two-month-old 2022 Silverado crew cab, a 5.3 V8 with the Z71 package, and the newer larger infotainment center. Within the last two weeks, the infotainment center has not been working as expected. Not every time, but becoming more common, when the radio controls on the backside of the steering wheel are pressed, there is a delay in performing the action (changing volume or channel). At first, it was a 6-minute delayed response. Other times it’s been a 10-minute delay or a minute delay. Once the delay occurs, the only way to restore functionality is to restart the truck, and even then, there is no guarantee it will fix the issue. I can change the volume and channel using the touchscreen. Yesterday I noticed the steering wheel controls worked to change the radio station channel displayed on the screen, but it did not actually change the station. Also, I occasionally get the station unavailable when listening to Sirius, and I have to jump off the channel and return for it to work. Lastly, the station presets seem to jump around when I’m running through them – instead of going to the next preset as one would expect, it might jump to another one/page. Again, not every time, which leads me to believe there is a software bug in the system.

Take it to a Chevy Dealer's service department and show them. It's under warranty.

It went away - guessing they pushed an update to the vehicle.
