The only issue I have had with mine is the back window leaking. Drivers side back corner. Other than that it has been pretty good. A few recalls, trailer wiring something, software upgrades and I guess there is a problem with the drive belt since it no longer has a tension system like in the past, the belt kind of stretches on. They replaced the belt one time when they had it but I don't know why around 36k miles I think it was. I am close to 50k miles on my 22 LTZ. My first Chevy, only pickup with a V8 I could find when I needed one. Very quiet inside, no rattles, comfortable, interior is made of nice materials. No cylinder deactivation on my year. I got the 5.3 because I was scared of the 6.2 issues. I got rid of the 22 inch wheels/tires and low rider look, put the trailboss lift on mine and the trailboss wheels with some BFG K02 tires and just purchased some BFG Trail Terrain tires that are so much nicer than the K02's ride quality and road noise. I love the ride quality! It tows really nice with the 10 speed trans, plenty of power for me with the 5.3 and decent fuel mileage, love the Google entertainment system. HVAC system is great, I like that the seat heaters are 2 way, back and bottom, nice to just turn it on for your back, feels great in the bitter cold winter. Super easy to service. I love the automatic steps, the design and the way they work. Nice to be able to deploy them to the back bed access when servicing the vehicle so you can fit under it easily to change the oil. I also really like the Chevy app, I pay the monthly fee to have it, lock, unlock, remote start, check the status, very helpful and useful, works great. Only a couple things I don't like but really don't matter in the grand scheme of things. There is no light switch for the bed lights, I have a bed cover and my other vehicle had a push button switch back there for the bed lights. I lock and unlock with the key fob to get the lights to turn on for a few seconds if I have the key fob. I have a couple sled tubs back there I keep stuff in, just can't see anything with the bed cover in the dark. If you are in the cab and you are going back to get in there you can turn the bed lights on but I guess I get in there a lot to grab stuff now and then and constantly wish the bed lights were on and that I could turn them on from within the bed. The way the bed is sealed, I put a rubber bed liner in and then cut some super thick weed barrier cloth and ran it under the bed liner to the tailgate to bridge the gap between the bed and the tailgate. Took the tailgate cover bolts out and ran the cloth under it and put the bolts back in to hold it in place. Driving in snow or dirt roads just filled the bed with dirt and in the winter, snow. They need to do a better job with that seal/design. Never had a pickup do that before. My first snow drive in powder snow I went to get in the back of the pickup, opened the tailgate and there was about a foot of snow 6 inches wide across the back like a second tailgate! The ventilated seats do not work as good as in other vehicles and they are really loud. I love the ventilated seats but these kind of suck. Mine didn't come with them but were added when the parts became available so I don't know if they are aftermarket and suck or if they are just not that great. They were short on parts from COVID or something and were added when the parts became available so I think they are OEM.
This is for any new vehicle:
Check to make sure all the recalls and covered TSB's have been completed and I would purchase the best warranty possible for 100% sure, have the vehicle inspected, checked out and scanned by a good shop, car fax as well to read through and let the shop look at before your purchase. The exhaust cross pipe by the oil filter is smashed, that is normal, strange but normal. Also be prepared if you have a warranty issue things take forever to resolve in most cases if you're going through a dealer, try to get a warranty that will provide you with another vehicle. I would do this for any new vehicle now days, just way to many things to go wrong. Make sure the warranty has good coverage and minimal or no deductibles. Auto repair prices are insane! A 3-4k dollar warranty is dumb not to have in my opinion. Get a copy of it and make sure it says what they are telling you!
Overall I have been very pleased with my purchase. Good luck.

wow this is an amazing post I thank you so much! Learning a lot so all this info is so great to have
I forgot one other thing I really like is when you are towing and you turn your blinker on the entire screen turns to a camera shot where you see down the side you are turning. I wish there was a setting where you could have this on all the time.
